=> 144 = 2 ( x + 12 + x )

=> 144 / 2 = x + 12 + x

=> 72 = 2x + 12

=> 72 - 12 = 2x

=> 60 = 2x

=> x = 60 / 2

=> x = 30

Length of rectangle = x + 12

= 30 + 12

= 42 cm

Breadth of rectangle = x

= 30 cm
