the length of a rectangle plot is 3 times the breadth of the plot. if the breadth of the plot is b, form an equation for its length and the perimeter.

let the length be l and perimeter be p

l  = 3b

as b is thrice of l that means b=3l

2(l+3l) =p

2(4l) =p

8l =p
