the length of a rectangle plywood sheet is thrice its breadth .if the cost of painting one side of the sheet at rs 14 per sq.m comes to rs 60.48,what is length of tge sheet in meters?

area of one side=60.48/14=4.32 m^2
let it's length be x and width be 3x
x×3x=4.32
x^2=4.32/3=1.44
x=1.2 m

Area of rectangle sheet =(60.48)/14

Area of rectangle =4.32 m²



Let breadth be x and lenght be 3x,

Now,

Area of rectangle =4.32

3x*x =4.32

3x² =4.32

x²=4.32/3

x²=1.44

x=√1.44

x=1.2

Now,

Breadth of rectangle =x =1.2 m

Lenght of rectangle =3x =3*1.2 =3.6 m
