Given

  • The length of a rectangular farm is twice its breadth

  • The perimeter of the rectangular farm is 321 meters

We Find

  • Length and Breadth of the farm

We Know

☆ The length of a rectangular farm is twice its breadth , So :-

Length = 2x

Breadth = x

☆ Perimeter of rectangle :-

 \boxed {\red{2 ( Lenght + Breadth ) }}

According to the question

2 ( Length + Breadth ) = Perimeter of rectangle

2 ( 2x + x ) = 321 m

2 × 3x = 321 m

6x = 321

x = 321/6

x = 53.5

So, Length and breadth is :-

Lenght = 53.5 × 2 = 107 m

Breadth = 53.5 × 1 = 53.5 m

Hence Length is 107 m and Breadth is 53.5 m.
