the length of a rectangular farm is twice its breadth if the perimeter of the rectangular farm is 321m find the length and breadth of the rectangular farm

Answer:

Let the breadth be x

So the length = 2x

Perimeter of rectangular farm = 321 m

Perimeter of rectangular farm = 2 (l+b)

                                     321 m  = 2 (2x+x)

                                   321 m    =2( 3x)

                                   321 m = 6x

                                   321/6 = x

                                 53.5 m = x

∴ Length = 2 x 53.5 = 107 m

∴ Breadth = 53.5 m
