Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of rectangular field=500 meter

2(l+b)= 500 meter

2(100+b)=500

200+2b=500

2b=500-200

2b=300

b=150 meter

hence breadth of the given rectangular field is 150 meters

hope it helps

Answer:

Given :

Length of rectangle = 100 meter

Perimeter of rectangle = 500 meter

To find :

Breadth of rectangle

Formula used :

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l+b)

Putting values in above formulae

500 meter = 2( 100 meter + breadth)

500 meter = 200 meter + 2b

500 - 200 = 2b

300 meter = 2b

 \frac{300}{2}  = b

150 \: meter \:  = b

So breadth of rectangle is 150 meters
