Let take X as length ans Y as breadth..

Then 2(Y+10+Y) =80 becoz p=2(l+b)

2(2Y+10)=80

4Y+20=80

4Y=80-20=60

Y=60/4

Y=15

Then breadth is 15 and length is 15+10=25

Answer:

Let the breadth=x

and the length=x+10

Area of rectangle=lxb

=(x+10)x

=x^+10x=0

By quadratic formula

a=1,b=10,c=-0

b^-4ac=10^-4×1x0

=100-0=100

x=-b-b^-4ac/2a

=-10-√100/2x1=10-10/2=0/2=0

y=-b+b^-4ac/2a

=-10+√100/2x1=-10+10/2=0/2=0

Therefore,breadth=x=0

and length=x+10=0+10=10

Let the length

and breadth=x

Perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)=80

= 2(x+x)=80

=2x+2x=80

=4x=80

x=80/4=20m

Therefore,length and breadth=x=20m
