let the breadth of the rectangle be x m

Length = x+11

Area = (x+11)(x)
= x^2+11
--------------------------
Now,
New length = (x+11)-12 = x-1
New breadth = x+20

New Area
= (x-1)(x+20)
= x^2 +20x-x-20
= x^2+19x-20
-----------------------
New Area = Area-24

x^2+19x-20 = x^2+11-24
19x = 7
x = 7/19 = 0.36
___________
length = x+11
= (7/19)+11
= 216/11
= 19.6 3
======================
Hence the dimensions of the rectangle are 0.36 m × 19.63 m
