The length of a rectangular field is 2 metres more than its breadth. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 196 metres, find its length and breadth

l= b+2
Perimeter= 196 m
Let,
b = x m
Now,
Perimeter= 2(l+b)
196= 2(x+2+x)
196= 4x+4
192= 4x
x= 192/4
x= 48 m
So,
Breadth= x= 48 m
Length= x+2= 48+2= 50 m
