Given,

Length of a rectangular field is 2 times its breadth.

Perimeter of the field = 72cm.

Let the breadth of the rectangular field be "x"cm.

Then its length will be 2x.

We know that,

The perimeter of a rectangle =

2(length + breadth)

According to the question,

=> 2(length+breadth) = 72cm.

Putting the value of expected values of length and breadth in their respective places.

2( 2x + x) = 72cm

4x + 2x = 72cm

6x = 72cm

x = 72/6

x = 12 cm

Therefore,

Length of the field = 2x = 2*12

= 24cm..

Breadth of the field = x

= 12cm..

\huge\bold{solution}

Given :-
1=> Length of rectangle field is 2 times of its breath .
2=>Fields perimeter is 72 cm .

Find :-
We have to find its length and breadth .

 {\boxed {\boxed {\boxed{\underline{\sf{Formula\:used}}}}}} => 2( length + breadth )

"According to question"

breadth = x.
length = 2 × x = 2x
Perimeter = 72

Putting of values in formula of finding perimeter .

2( 2x + x ) = 72 cm

4x + 2x = 72 cm.

6x = 72 cm .

x = 72 ÷ 6

x = 12.

As , given in the question is that length will be 2 time of its breadth .

So we have to multiple 12 from 2 we will get our length .

12 × 2 .

24 cm

So ,, final answers are ..

Length => 24 cm
Breadth => 12 cm.
