The length of a rectangular field is 20 m more than its breadth. If the perimeter of the field is 280 m ,what is its length?

l = 20 + b

p = 280 m

⇒ 2 (l + b) = 280

l + b = 140

20 + b + b = 140

2b = 120

b = 60m

l = 80m
