Answer:

Given :-

perimeter = 48m

length = 4 × breadth

Required Answer :-

length is 19.2 m

breadth is 4.8 m

Solution :-

Let the breadth of a rectangular field be x

let the length of a rectangular field be 4x

\bf \small \:perimeter = 2(l + b)

\bf \small \:48 = 2(4x + x)

\bf \small \:48 = 2(5x)

\bf \small \:48 = 10x

\bf \small \:x =  \frac{48}{10}

\bf \small \:x = 4.8

 \bf \small \:\therefore \: breadth \: is \: 4.8m

Finding length

\bf \small \:length = 4x

\bf \small \: = 4 \times 4.8

\bf \small \: = 19.2

\bf \small \: \therefore \: length \: is \: 19.2m
