Answer:

breadth = 6m and length = 17 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Let breadth be x m

so length is (2x + 5) m

2 [(2x + 5) + x] = 46

4x + 10 + 2x = 46

6x + 10 = 46

6x = 36

x =6

2x+ 5 = 17

❣ ANSWER ❣

✡ ROCKY HERE ✌

Let the length of the field be x and breadth be y .

According to the conditions ;

x = 5 + 2 y ---(1)

46 = 2 ( x + y )

x + y = 23 ----(2)

substituting eq (1) in eq (2)

5 + 2y + y = 23

3y = 23 - 5

3y = 18

y = 6 ----(3)

substituting eq (3) in eq (1)

x = 5 + 6

x = 11

length = 11 m and breadth = 6 m
