The length of a rectangular field is 7 m and its breadth is 3 m. If a square field has the same
perimeter as this rectangular field. Find which field has a greater area. what it is?​

Answer:

perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)

=2(7+3)

=2*10=20m

as per the q perimeter of square is equal to perimeter of rectangle=20m. and the side of square =20m/4=5m

area of rectangle=l*b=7*3=21m^2

area of square=side *side=5m*5m=25m^2

so,area of sqaure is greater than area of rectangle
