let the breadth be 2x
and length be 2x-8
Perimeter of rectangle
2(l+b)
2(2x-8+2x)=56
4x-16+4x = 56
8x-16=56
8x=56+16
8x=72
x=72÷8
x=9
x=9×2=18
breadth =18
length= 18-8=10
