let,breadth is x
then ,length=2x-8
- perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)
- p=2(2x-8+x)
- p=2(3x-8)
- 56=6x-16
- 6x=56-16
- 6x=40
- x=20/3
- breadth is 20/3m
- length =2*20/3-8
l=40/3-8=16/3
