Given,

Perimeter of Rectangular field = 2(l + b ) = 56

Length of Rectangular field is 8 metres less than twice its breadth.

Let the breadth be x

Then length = 2x - 8

According to the problem,

2( x + 2x - 8 ) = 56

2 ( 3x - 8 ) = 56

3x - 8 = 56/2

3x - 8 = 28

3x = 28 + 8

3x = 36

x = 36/3

x = 12

Breadth= x = 12

Then length = 2x - 8 = 24 - 8 = 16

Therefore, the length and breadth of Rectangular field are 12 and 16.

Answer

Breadth of rectangle= x m

Length = (2x-8) m

perimeter of rectangle = 56 m

➡️ 2(length added to breathe) = 56

➡️ 2(2x-8+x) = 56

➡️ 3x-8 = 28

➡️ 3x =28+8

➡️ x = 36/3 = 12 m

Hence,

Length = 2x-8 =2×12 - 8 =16 meter Breadth= x = 12 meters

Answer =16 and 12 respectively
