Heya friend,

_______________________________

Let its breadth be x cm. Then,

Perimeter of a rectangular field = 2(l+b)

=> 248 = 2(82+b)

=> 248/2 = 82+b

=> 124 = 82+b

=> 124-82 = b

=> 42 = b

=> b = 42 cm

Hence, the breadth of the rectangular field is 42 cm.

Thanks

HEY,
PERIMETER=248cm
LENGTH=82cm
BREADTH=?

NOW WE FIND BREADTH

       PERIMETER=2(LENGTH+BREADTH)
                      248=2(82+BREADTH)
                     248/2=(82+BREADTH)
                     124-82=BREADTH
               BREADTH=42cm.
