Let the breadth be b
Length = 2b-8
Perimeter = 56cm. (Given)
Perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)
56= 2(2b-8+b)
56/2 = 2b+b-8
28= 3b-8
28+8= 3b
36 = 3b
b=36/3
b= 12
Breadth = 12
Length = 2x-8 = 2×12-8= 24-8= 16
