Answer:

length= 18

breadth = 10

Step-by-step explanation:

x = 2y-8

2(x + y) = 56

x+y= 56/2= 28

if y= 10 then x = 18 ( 10*2 =20 and 20- 2 =18)

10 + 18= 28

therefore length= 18

breadth = 10

ᴘᴇʀɪᴍᴇᴛᴇʀ ᴏғ ʀᴇᴄᴛᴀɴɢʟᴇ = 56 ᴍ

Solution:-

⇒ 2(l+b)=56

⇒ 2(2x−8+x)=56

⇒ 3x−8=28

⇒ 3x =28+8

⇒ x=36/3=12m

Therefore :-

ʟᴇɴɢᴛʜ(ʟ) = 2x-8 =2×12 - 8 =16 ᴍᴇᴛᴇʀs.

ʙʀᴇᴀᴅᴛʜ(ʙ) = x = 12 ᴍᴇᴛᴇʀs.
