Let the length be l
And width be b

So according to the question :

l = b + 4

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

2 ( b+4 + b ) = 32

2 ( 2b + 4 ) = 32

2b + 4 = 16

2b = 12

b = 6

l = b + 4

l = 6 + 4 = 10

Area = l × b = 10 × 6 = 60

So area = 60m^2

Hope it helps you.

Hey here is your answer...

Let the length of the rectangular field (x + 4)m and it's width be x..

as we know that..

2(length+ breadth) = 32m

2(x + 4 + x) = 32

2(2x + 4) = 32

2x + 4 = 16

2x = 12

x = 6

x = 6

Therefore length is (6 + 4) = 10 and breadth is 6

Area of rectangular field

Length × breadth

10 × 6

60m^2

I HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU
