Let the width be x,

Then the length will be (8 + x)

 : \implies \: Area \:   of \: rectangle \: = 2(l + b)

 : \implies 48  {m}^{2} =   2( \: x + x + 8)

 : \implies 48  {m}^{2} =  16 + 4x

 : \implies 48  - 16 = 4x

 : \implies 32 = 4x

 : \implies x \:  =  \frac{32}{4}

 \therefore \: x = 8 \: m

Hence, The width is 8 m

And length is Width + 8

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ= 8 + 8 = 16 m
