Given :-

Length of a rectangular feild is three times as it's breadth.

Perimeter of rectangular field is 32 cm.

Assuming :-

Let the breadth of the rectangular feild be x.

So, it's length will be 3x.

Solution :-

We know that Perimeter of rectangle is

\LARGE{\underline{\boxed{\blue{\sf{Perimeter \: = \: 2(l + b)}}}}}

______________[Put Values]

→ 32 = 2(3x + x)

→ 32 = 2(4x)

→ 8x = 32

→ x = 32/8

→ x= 4 cm

Length :-

4(4)

⇒length = 16 cm

_____________

Breadth :-

4(1)

Breadth = 4cm

\rule{200}{2}

{\underline{\boxed{\blue{\sf{Length = 16 cm}}}}}

{\underline{\boxed{\blue{\sf{Breadth\: = 4 cm}}}}}

Answer:

let length of the rectangular field be x.Then , its Breadth be 3x..

Perimeter =32cm (given)

Now,

Perimeter of the rectangular field

=2(Lenght +breadth)

So, 2(x+3x)

therefore,32=2(4x)

so, 32=8x

therefore, x=32÷8

Hence, X=4

Then it's length = 4 cm &

it's breadth = 4×4=16cm
