The length of a rectangular field is three times of its breadth. Find the length, breadth and area of the field, if its perimeter is 80 metres.​

Length = 30 Breadth =  10

Let length = 3X because it is given and breadth =X

Perimeter of a Rectangle = 2( LENGHT + BREADTH )

80 = 2(3X + X)

80 = 6X + 2X

80 = 8X

80 divided by 8 = X

X = 10

As, length = 3X

    3 multiplied by 10 = 30

THEREFORE LENGHT = 30 AND BREADTH = 10

Area = Width Into Length

Width is nothing but breadth u can do it by urself
