let the breadth be x and length be 3 x

perimeter = 2(l+b) = 400 m

perimeter = 2( x+ 3 x )

400 = 2 × 4 x

400 / 2 = 4 x

200 = 4 x

200 / 4 = x

50 = x = breadth

3 × 50 = 150 m  = length

hope it  helps !!
