The length of a rectangular field is thrice its breadth and its area is 1200

Let breadth be x

length of a rectangular field=3x

Area=3x× x=1200

       =3x²=1200

       =x²=1200/3=400

       =x=√400

       =x=20m

Breadth is 20 m

Therefore,length=20m×3

                          =60m
