Given :-

  • The length of a rectangular field is 36 its breadth if the area of the field is 432 square meters

To find :-

  • Breathe and length of rectangular field.

Solution :-

  • Area of rectangular field = 432 m²

As we know that

  • Area of rectangle = l × b

Where " l " is length and " b " is breath of rectangle.

  • According to the question

Let the breath be x then its length be 3x

→ Area of rectangular field = 432 m²

→ l × b = 432

→ 3x × X = 432

→ 3x² = 432

→ x² = 432/3

→ x² = 144

→ x = √144

→ x = ± 12m

  • Length and breadth never is negative

Hence,

  • Length of rectangular field = 3x = 36 m

  • Breathe of rectangular field = x = 12 m
