Given:
Length of rectangular field is thrice its breadth.
Perimeter = 560 m
To Find:
Length of rectangular field.
Solution:
Let the breadth be x
Length 3x (As length is thrice of breadth)
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Perimeter of rectangle = 2(Length+Breadth)
⇝2(3x + x) = 560
⇝2(4x) = 560
⇝8x = 560
⇝x = 560÷8
⇝x = 70
Now finding Length:-
Length= 3x
Length= 3×70
Length= 210 m
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Length of rectangular field= 210m
Breadth of rectangular field= 70m

Question
the length of a rectangular field is thrice its breadth if its perimeter is 560m, then its length is
Answer
Given data:-
- ⇒Perimeter of rectangle = 560m
To find:-
- Length = ?
Solution:-
- Let,
- ⇒Breathe = x
- ⇒Length = 3x
- As we know that
- ⇒Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( L + B )
- ⇒ 560 = 2 ( L + B )
- ⇒ 560 = 2 ( 3x + x )
- ⇒ 560 = 2 ( 4x )
- ⇒ 560/2 = 4x
- ⇒ 280 = 4x
- ⇒ 280/4 = x
- ⇒ 70 = x
- ⇒ x = 70
Now,put values in the 3x.
- ⇒ 3x
- ⇒ 3 ( 70 )
- ⇒ 210m Ans

Hence,proved that:
Length = 210m
Breath = 70m
