perimeter =2(3x+x)=800
4x=400
x=100
so length is 300m and breadth is 100m
area=lb
300*100=30000m²

Area of the field is 30000m² and length is 300m.
let the breadth be x.
∴length = 3x
perimeter of a rectangle=2(l+b)
∴800=2(x+3x)
800=8x
∴x=100
∴length=3×breadth=3×100=300.
area of a rectangle=length×breadth
∴area=300×100=30000
