Step-by-step explanation:

Let the breadth of rectangular field (b)=x metre

Length of rectangular field (l) = 2x metre

perimeter (p)=150 metres

We know,

p=2(l+b)

150 = 2(x+2x)

150/2=3x

75=3x

75/3=x

25=x

So, breadth (b)=x=25 m

length (l)= 2x = 2×25 = 50 m

Step-by-step explanation:

given,length is twice its breadth

implies(plz give implies sign there is no opt in my phone)

imp. l = 2b____eq 1.

and , p = 150 m

we know,

perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)

imp. 150m = 2 ( l+b)

imp. 150m= 2 ( 2b+b)[l= 2b from 1.]

imp. 150m= 2 ×3b

imp. 150/2 = 3b

imp. 75 =3b

imp 75/3= b

imp. b= 25

since , b = 25 m

so length = 2b

= 2 × 25

= 50m
