The length of a rectangular field is twice its breadth. Himanshu jogged around it 3 times and covered a distance of 5.4 km. Find the length and breadth of the field ?

Let the breadth be = x

and length be = 2x

Distance covered in 3 times by Himanshu = 5.4

Distance covered in 1 time = 5.4 / 3

                          Perimeter  = 1.8 km

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2( l + b )

= 2 ( 2x + x ) = 1.8

= ( 4x + x ) = 1.8

= 5x = 1.8

= x = 1.8 / 5

x = 0.36
