let the length of the rectangular field be x

so the breadth be x/2

now,
         it covers 3 km in 5 rounds
  so 5(perimeter of field )=3000meters

5(2(x+x/2)=3000

2(3x/2)=600

3x=600

x=200

now the length of the field is x=200 meters

       the breadth of the field is x/2=100 meters
