So the perimeter of the field is 3000/5 = 600 m.

The sum of adjacent sides = 600/2 = 300 m.

Length, L = 2x breadth, or 2B

B+2B = 3B = 300 m, or

B = 100 m and L = 200 m.

Check: (100+200)*2*5 = 300*2*5 = 3000 m = 3 km. Correct.

Length, L = 30000 m.
