let the breath be x

therefore, length = 2x

perimeter of rectangular field =

2( l+ b )

228 = 2( 2x+x )

228 = 2( 3x )

228 = 6x

x = 228/6

x = 38

2x = 38*2 = 76

cross check

228 = 2( 76+38 )

228 = 228

hence , verified

☯️ Let the breαdth of the rectαngle = x metres.

Need to Find :- The dimensions of the field.

\bigstar{\large{\underline{\boxed{\frak{\purple{According \ to \ the \ question,}}}}}}

Length of the rectαngle = 2x metres

Perimeter of α rectαngle = 2 (length + breαdth)

So, 2 (2x + x) = 228

\longrightarrow 2 (3x) = 228

\longrightarrow 6x = 228

Dividing both sides by 6, we get

\longrightarrow 6x/6 = 228/6

\longrightarrow x = 38

So, the breαdth of the rectαngle = x = 38 metres,

The length of the rectαngle = 2x = 2(38) = 76 metres.
