Answer:

let the breadth is x m

so length is 2x m

perimeter=2(length+breadth)=540

=> 2(2x+x)=540

=> 6x=540

=> x=540/6=90

so breadth is 90 m and length is 2*90m=180m

Answer:

90m

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter- 540

let the length of the rectangle be x

therefore, breadth of the rectangle= 2x

formula of perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)

=> 540=2(x +2x)

270 =x+2x

270 =3x

x = 90

=> length of rectangle= 90m
