The length of a rectangular field is twice its breadth. If the perimeter of the field is 456 meters, find the length and breadth of the field.

HEY MATE ! HERE IS YOUR ANSWER :


Let the breadth of rectangular field be x metres.
So, the length will be 2x metres

According to the question,
Perimeter = 456 m
or, 2(2x+x)= 456 m
or, 3x = 456/2 m
or, 3x = 228 m
or, x = 228/3 m
or, x = 76 m.
breadth= x = 76 m.
Therefore, length = 2x = 2*76 = 152 m.

ANS.-- Length of the field is 152 metres and the breadth is 76 metres.
