the length of a rectangular field is twice its breadth. if neha takes 6 rounds and covers the distance of 144m, what is the length of the field.

Hey maye,

ATQ,

l = 2b

In one round = 144/6

= 24

So perimeter = 24 m

then,

2 (l+b) = 24

2 (l+l/2) = 24

3l/2 = 12

l = 8

p=2(l+b)
144=2(l+2b)
144=2l+2b
144/2=l+2b
72/2=l+b
36=l+b
therefore l=36
b=36
