Given

we have given area of Rectangular field is 1800 sq.m

We have also given length of a Rectangular field is twice its breadth

To Find

We have to find length and breadth of a Rectangular field.

\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

let the breadth of the Rectangular field be 'x'

and it given length is twice its breadth

then length of the Rectangular field be '2x'

We have to find length and breadth so,we will apply the formula of area of Rectangle.

Area of Rectangular field= length× breadth

Area of Rectangular field=2x × x

=>2x²= 1800

=>x²= 1800÷2

=>x²=900

=>x=√900=30

x=30m

Hence, breadth of the Rectangular field is 30m

length of Rectangular field= 2x=2×30= 60m

Check:

Area of Rectangular field= length× breadth

=>30×60= 1800 sq.m

Extra information=>

Area is Space or region which is covered by a solid object/figure it is said to be area of that object.

Area depends upon the dimensions of the figure.If dimensions is larger then larger will be the area of that object/figure and vice -versa.
