Given :-

Length of rectangular floor is 10m more than its breadth

Perimeter of floor = 160m

To Find :-

Length of the rectangular floor

Breadth of the rectangular floor

Solution :-

Let Breadth = x

Length = x + 10m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

2(x+10m+x) = 160m

2(2x+10m) = 160m

4x+20m = 160m

4x = 160m - 20m

4x = 140m

x =  \frac{140}{4}

x = 35m

Hence , The Breadth of rectangular floor is 35m

Length = x+10m

35m + 10m = 45m

Hence, The length of rectangular floor is 45m

Proof :-

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

160m = 2(45m + 35m)

160m = 2(80m)

160m = 160m

Hence,proved

Let the breadth= X cm

length=x +10

Perimeter=80m

2(l+b)=80m

  • l+b=40
  • x+10+x=40
  • x=15cm

then,length=15+10=25

l=25cm

Dimension(l,b)=(25cm,15cm)

area=l×b

=25×15

=375cm^2

Hope it helpful...☃️⚡️
