To Find :-

Length of the rectangular floor

Breadth of the rectangular floor

Solution :-

Let Breadth = x

Length = x + 10m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

2(x+10m+x) = 160m

2(2x+10m) = 160m

4x+20m = 160m

4x = 160m - 20m

4x = 140m

$x = \frac{140}{4}$

x = 35m

Hence , The Breadth of rectangular floor is 35m

Length = x+10m

35m + 10m = 45m

Hence, The length of rectangular floor is 45m

Proof :-

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

160m = 2(45m + 35m)

160m = 2(80m)

160m = 160m
