Perimeter of the rectangular floor = 280m
2(L+B) = 280
L = 280-20 ÷ 2
L = 130m

...hope you got it

perimeter of rectangle=2(a+b)

breath=X,length=20+X
perimeter=280m

280=2(20+X+X)

280=2(2x+20)

280=4x+40

280-40=4x

240=4x

X=240/4

X=60

breath=60,length=X+20=60+20=80
