perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)=280

=2(x+x+20)=280

2(2x+20)=280

4x+20=280

4x=280--20

4x=260

x=4÷260

x=65

length of the rectangle =x+20

=65+20=85

breadth of the rectangle =x

x=65
