The length of a rectangular garden is 7 m more than its breadth. If area of the garden is 144 m, find the length and breadth of the garden.

Answer:

let breadth be b

so length will be (7m +b )

area of rectangle is l×b=(7m+b)b

= 7b +b²=144

= b²+7b -144 =0
