Let the breadth be b
Length = 8 + b
2( l + b) = 80
(l+b) = 40
8 + b + b = 40
2b = 32
b = 16cm
Length = b +8
= 16+8
= 24 cm

Let the breadth be x

Then

Length = x + 8

2 ( x + x + 8 ) = 80

2 ( 2x + 8 ) = 80

2x + 8 = 40

x = 32/2

x = 16

Hence length = 24cm and breadth = 16cm
