Given :

  • Length = 4 meters less than 3 times of Breadth

  • Breadth = b

To find :

  • Length

According to the question :

We know that,

↬Breadth = b

↬Length will be = 4 - ( 3 times of ' b ' )

↬It can be written as = ' 3 × b - 4 '

⟹ Length = 3 × b - 4

⟹ Length = ( 3 × b ) - 4

⟹ Length = ( 3b - 4 )

We got :

∴ Length = ( 3b - 4 )

More Information :

↦Perimeter of a Rectangle = 2 ( Length + Breadth / Width )

↦Area = Length × Breadth

So, It's Done !!
