Answer:

the answer will be

breadth=16metres

length=21 metres

Step-by-step explanation:

let breadth be x so,length will be 5+x metre. it is given that perimeter is 74metres. so 2(5+x+x)=74. 2x+5=37 so x= 37-5/2 so x will be 16 hence solved

Answer:

Length = 21 m.

Bredth = 14 m.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

  • Breadth of the rectangular field = x
  • length of the rectangular field = x+5

                   [As it is given here that the length is 5 more the breadth]

{ To find, the dimensions of the field when its perimeter is 74 m}

we got an equation -

                    2(x + x+5) = 74

Solution :-

⇒ 2(x + 5 + x) = 74

⇒ 2(2x + 5) = 74

⇒ 4x + 10 = 74

⇒ 4x = 64

⇒ x = 16

_______________________________

We got breadth, 16 m

and length ( x+5), 21m
