The length of a rectangular hall is 5 metres more than its breadth. if the perimeter of the hall is 74 metres, find its length and breadth.

we have,
let b=y then, l=y+5

also,
2(l+b)=74
2(y+5+y)=74
2y+5=74/2
2y=37-5
y=32/2=16


Therefore,
Breadth=b=y=16
AND Length =l=y+5=16+5=21 ans.
