Solution :

$\longmapsto\tt{Let\:the\:breadth\:be=x}$

As the length of hall is 5m more than its breadth.So,

$\longmapsto\tt{Length=x+5}$

$\longmapsto\tt{Perimeter=74m}$

Using Formula :

$\longmapsto\tt\boxed{Perimeter\:of\:Rectangle=2(l+b)}$

Putting Values :

$\longmapsto\tt{74=2(x+5+x)}$

$\longmapsto\tt{\cancel\dfrac{74}{2}=2x+5}$

$\longmapsto\tt{37=2x+5}$

$\longmapsto\tt{37-5=2x}$

$\longmapsto\tt{32=2x}$

$\longmapsto\tt{x=\cancel\dfrac{32}{2}}$

$\longmapsto\tt\bold{x=16}$

Value of x is 16 .

Now :

$\longmapsto\tt\bold{Breadth=16m}$

$\longmapsto\tt{Length=16+7}$

$\longmapsto\tt\bold{23m}$
