Let the breadth of the rectangle be x cm. Then,

it's length = (x+5) cm

According to question,

2(x+5+x) = 74

=> 2(2x+5) = 74

=> 4x + 10 = 74

=> 4x = 74 - 10

=> 4x = 64

=> x = 64/4

=> x = 16

Hence, the breadth = 16 cm and

length = (16+5) = 21 cm.
