Question:-

The length of a rectangular hall is 5m more than its breadth . if the area of the hall is 594 square metre , find its perimeter.

  • Area of rectanglular hall = 594

  • Area of rectangle :- L×B

Let the lenght and breadth be -- x

<font color=yellow>

  • Length - x+5
  • Breadth - x

Area = L×B

594 = (x+5)*(x)

594=x²+5x

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

=2(x²+5x)

2x²+10x

=> x²+5x=2x²+10x

=>x²-2x²=5x-10x

=>x²=5x

-:GIVEN:-

  • Area of rectangular hall = 594
  • Area of rectangle = length*breadth
  • let length=x+
  • bradth=x

---------------------------------

=> area = 594=x+5×x

=> 594= x^{2}+5x

=>6x^{2}=594

=>x^{2}=594/6

=> x=\sqrt{99}

=> x=9.94

we know that,

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

=>2(9.94)
