The length of a rectangular hall is 5m more than its breadth. The 2 of the hall is 750 sq.m. The length of the hall is

breadth = x
Length = x+5

area = lb
750 = x(x+5)
750 = x² + 5x
x² + 5x = 750
x² + 5x + 6.25 = 750 + 6.25
√(x+2.5)² = +or-√756.25
x + 2.5 = +or- √756.25
x + 5 = 2.5+or-√756.25
Since x+5 = length
therefore , length = 2.5+27.5 = 30..
Hence , length = 30m
